Nicole is the Co-Founder of Untangled Minds. For five years Nicole has been pursuing a career in accounting and marketing but before her work as a marketing administrator and accounting intern, she worked with students in numerous camps and programs designed to promote community and education. She is passionate about business and community development and student achievement. She now holds two degrees from Salisbury University; a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and in Marketing.

Alan Stein | president

Alan is an internationally recognized authority on the history, design, and manufacture of traditional glass architecture. He is the Co-Founder of Untangled Minds, Inc. and President and Director of Architecture of Tanglewood Conservatories, Ltd., the company he founded in 1993 with his wife and design partner Nancy Virts. Alan studied design at the California College of Art and graduated from the University of Maryland with a professional degree in architecture. He speaks internationally about his work published in Architectural Digest, Town and Country Japan, and numerous other periodicals worldwide. Alan is passionate about architecture, photography, history, traveling, building cool things, and personal development.

josh zimmerman| vice president

A key member on our board of directors, Josh has the unique experience of being both an entrepreneur and an educator, molding young minds in the classroom as a secondary science teacher for 10 years. He has specialized in career and technical education as a Business Liaison for Caroline County Schools and as a Career & Technical Education Coordinator for Polytech School District. His unparalleled passion for student achievement through the integration of academic and career success skills began during his undergraduate studies at Delaware State University and culminated in a Master's of Education in Career and Technical Education from Wilmington University. His ultimate goal is to expand these programs to impact many students across the community.

Sheryl neighoff | treasurer

A valued member on our board of directors and mother of two children serving in the armed forces, Sheryl sees where our youth are in need of an option other than college after high school. She experiences firsthand the importance of the trades as a team member of Tanglewood Conservatories and how building ones skills in the trades can lead to an exciting, rewarding career. In her four years of experience as a human resources manager she has learned an abundance that will help students become successful pursuing a career in the trades and in life.
